Otherwise, Outlook contacts will appear with a "My Contacts" category in Outlook since this is a Gmail group. It is suggested that when using this feature that the "Google Gmail Contact Group" selection on the "Contact Mapping" tab be set to "My Contacts'". OPTIONAL: If you want to have your Outlook categorized items be associated with Gmail contact groups automatically you do this by selecting the 'Gmail Groups' tab on the contact mapping dialog and selecting the option "Automatically sync Gmail groups with Outlook categories"."(All Contacts)" allows you to sync with all contacts regardless of Gmail group assignement and in many cases uses don't want to sync with this list because it often includes duplicates or Gmail suggested contacts. We recommend syncing with the "My Contacts" Gmail group if you are syncing your main contacts.
